London really is a food lovers paradise. I wouldn't say classic English food is all that inspired (fish & chips, sunday roast, etc) but like New York City - it's a city that has become a melting pot of cultures where only the best is able to (afford) to survive.

Best & MUST Bites:
Borough Market: social media has had a frenzy over Borough Market lately - and for good reason. The markets in London are amazing and the food stalls never disappoint! Must try: The ginger pig (sausage roll), Black pig ("the best one") and humble crumble (loved berry with whip!)
China Town: one of the best bites of my LIFE (custard bun from Bun House Chinatown), Good Friend Chicken (amazing popcorn chicken !!) and Id also recommend The Noodle Inn if the wait isn't too long
Indian food: other than india im pretty sure the best indian food lives in london. Dishoom is the most popoular (and rightfully so) with lots of locations to choose from - but if you plan ahead enough, id recommend Gymkhana
Coffee: so many good places...but if you love a cappuccino or flat white, here are my favorites: Lift coffee (kensington), Long White Cloud Bakery (Shoreditch/hackney), Pophams (london fields)
Baked goods: ole & steen (cinnamon roll), pophams (anything!), moi et toi (morning bun or literally anything), Long White Cloud Bakery
Honorable mention: for the best bagel pastrami sando (get it with mustard and gherkins) that will both amaze and shock you at Beigel Bake. Second HM - sunday roast! If you're around on a sunday - you gotta find yourself a sunday roast!
3-DAY: ITINERARY:
DAY 1: after an english breakfast...take in all the sights! get a lay of the land and walk from buckingham palace --> big ben/westminster abbey --> london eye --> finish at China Town for some amazing food! and hit a pub after for a drink and vibes!
DAY 2: borough market (lots of eating) followed by the tate museum (while you digest) and 10/10 recommend a indian food for dinner followed by a comedy show (THIS was one of the best comedy shows ive ever seen, the accents didn't hurt either!) and hit a pub after for a drink and vibes!
DAY 3: start the day with a run through hyde park and hit up a few coffee shops. while i didn't have a 3rd day, i would have gone up to camden market (great food and shopping)
How to get around? THE TUBE! Or walk. You don't even need a metro card - simply scan apple pay on your phone or use the chip sensor on your credit card. What's cool about London is driving (uber) and public transportation usually take the same amount of time. So save your money. TIP: careful if you're considering the bus (not tube) because estimated travel times can be heavily delayed during commuter hours.
